Geneva Galloway, Treasurer
Geneva Galloway is a native Arkansawyer who hails from both the Little Rock and Morgan Maumelle areas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Geneva was chosen to participate in the highly competitive theatre apprenticeship program at the legendary Steppenwolf Theatre Company located in Chicago, IL.
In 2015, Geneva moved back to Central Arkansas to work for her alma mater as General Manager for Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre (AST), the state’s only professional Shakespeare festival. During this time Geneva was instrumental in producing accessible and educational theatrical productions that toured to schools in Faulkner County and performed publicly at the historic Arneson River Theatre located in San Antonio, TX. In addition to her work with AST, she worked for UCA’s Outreach and Community Engagement department as the UCA Downtown Event Coordinator, hosting both university and city-wide events.
Geneva is currently the Coordinating Assistant for the School of Literary and Performing Arts at UA Little Rock and was the 2020 recipient of the Ben Fry Service to UA Little Rock Award. Geneva is working towards a Master in Public Administration degree and upon completion intends to continue her work in arts administration.
Her passion for volunteerism has afforded her the opportunity to serve across Central Arkansas at organizations such as the Arkansas Cinema Society, 20th Century Club, Conway Alliance for the Arts, UCA Women's Leadership Network, and at the Clinton Presidential Center.
